Veneziano, & Marmorino Finishes is an intense 3-day class which will show you
how to tackle these large faux finishing projects with relative ease. Multi-layered
Old World plasters, lime washed plasters, metallics, and waxes will be among the materials
and techniques covered. This class is a must for those who want to refine their
decorative painting skills in polished plasters and the realm of Marmorino and
Veneziano professional lime based and synthetic plasters.
Going even deeper into the wonderful world of faux finish plastering: polished Venetian
plasters will be highlighted in this class, as well as more complex distressing methods,
metallic layering, embellishment with raised stenciling and other compositional
elements. Your decorative painting portfolio will be greatly enhanced with these
beautiful samples.
As with the majority of samples created in our faux painting classes, these finishes are
executed on large 24" x 24" sample boards allowing our students to get a real "feel" for
the movements and scale essential to using your newfound skills on an actual project.
