along with your personal expertise. The
faux painting techniques you learn in this course can be used to create marble
effects for many elements, such as floors, columns, mantels, cabinetry, furniture,
and more.
Beginning to Intermediate Marble & Semi-Precious Stone
will instruct you in the various aspects of creating realistic marbles utilizing simple
faux painting techniques. You will also learn about the expert placement of masses,
drifts, and veins of color to permit you to recreate authentic-looking marble and precious
gems. The secret to creating realistic faux finish marble, stone, or gems is to be
"consistently inconsistent." Many spectacular faux paint finishes will be covered in
this class, including Embedded Stone Marbles
for creating complex stone veins in a simple
way. We will show you how to create faux finish marbles with incredible backgrounds which
previously could only be achieved with artistic painting. Use of the sprayer for topcoat applications
will be addressed. "The tricks of the trade" will allow you to complete your marble
faux painting projects faster and with greater eKSKciency.
